Buddy Turner passed away from Cancer after a 5 year battle on Sunday, September 14th at the age of 41.
As a Fire Officer, EMT, Fire Instructor with the North Stonington and Old Mystic Fire Departments he enjoyed sharing his knowledge with new firefighters and helping them strive to become the best they could be. Buddy had been recognized as Firefighter of The Year more than once as was also recognized by Governor Jodi Rell with the Good Samaritan Award.
Please join us on Saturday October 4th by listening to great music by Jay Dempsey & Highway Call www. highwaycall. net. and remembering a wonderful guy who dedicated his life to serving his community.
There is no "fee" for admission but donations would greatly be appreciated. Food and beverages will be available, also by donation only.
100% of the proceeds will go to the "Be a Buddy" Fund which will be used to cover the cost of his funeral and a headstone for his grave.
